Sheri’s attention to detail and design 

Sheri is a strong believer in setting up the design and details of a project before any work commences. That attention to strategizing and planning started with her education and initial work experience which later lead her into teaching and development of procedures. This design and drafting experience ranged from the forestry industry in Canada and the United States to modular home construction to geographic mapping of the southern Alberta area. 

Sheri’s commitment to reduction of hazards 

While working in the design and drafting area for a steel fabrication and building company, Sheri moved into the world of human resources with a focus on health and safety. She quickly progressed into managerial positions where she was able to establish the company’s direction for health and safety of employees and customers, as well as help make the company alert to activities that would have a negative impact on the environment. She wrote manuals, trained staff and created checklists to ensure efficiency.
