St. John's Standard First Aid Level A CPR & AED

St. John's Standard First Aid Level C CPR & AED

This 15 hour comprehensive course provides a level of first aid training as required by the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Legislation for medium and high risk occupations or workplace environments such as but not limited to construction, processing, manufacturing, oilfield and forestry industries.

First aid topics will include casualty management and secondary survey, shock and unconsciousness, CPR (one-rescuer & 2-rescuer) and choking for adults, severe bleeding, wound care, medical conditions (diabetes/seizures/asthma/allergies), bone and joint injuries, head and spinal injuries, chest injuries, eye injuries, burns, poisoning, environmental (heat/cold) injuries and AED (automated external defibrillation) training.

St John Ambulance National Certification valid for three (3) years is awarded upon successful completion of this course.
