NCSO - Onsite Safety Coach
David’s base is construction
Born in Lethbridge, David left for Edmonton and Red Deer but came back home in 2002. He has been involved in all areas of construction for the last 20 years working for companies such as Bird, Fluor, Kellog Brown & Root, ATCO Gas and PCL. David began his journey in construction as a general labourer, but continued to build knowledge and expertise in framing, electrical and concrete through opportunities with the General Labourers Union. David received his National Construction Safety Officer designation through the Alberta Construction Safety Association with a focus on Occupational Health and Safety.
David’s belief on smart and safe business practices
David has a laser focus on systems. He knows that good construction starts with a solid foundation and the same philosophy applies when a business develops a health and safety program. David recognizes that to build a solid foundation for a health and safety plan means gathering input from all those involved, especially those working in the field. David recently applied his focus on systems and solid foundations to his own personal health by becoming certified as a personal trainer.
