2 years ago Alberta passed a bill providing changes for farm labourers. These changes received a lot of backlash, particularly to farm hands receiving workers compensation. No action has been taken on this bill and the Government claims to be taking the time needed to get it right. A bill with no regulation likely makes little difference for those at risk.
